Postgraduate Paediatric Orthopaedics
This book has been given the green light by Cambridge University press for an update to a second edition. Postgraduate Orthopaedics Website
The website has been live for almost 4 years. It is still very rudimentary and requires a lot more additional work. The difficulty is that the postgraduate Orthopaedic team are all busy practising orthopaedic surgeons and the amount of work involved to update the site on a regular basis and to add new articles is…
Postgraduate Orthopaedics 2E Viva Guide to the FRCS(Tr & Orth) exam
The first edition is now over 5 years old. It has stood the test of time and is still very popular with trainees. As mentioned in a recent review by a trainee “it is surprising how many topics in the book still regularly appear in the exam and is definitely worth buying for the exam”…
The original aim of this website is to provide additional material that could not be accommodated in the second edition of Postgraduate orthopaedics.
We had to extensively edit the first edition of Postgraduate orthopaedics but felt we had much more to offer than what eventually was published. With the second edition we were determined to find an outlet for any additional material that we could not include in the book.
One of the most attractive features of Postgraduate orthopaedics is that it can be carried around by trainees in their bag so being handy to use and dip into for quick revision when on call.
We did not want the second edition to become so big that this was no longer possible.
With the third edition and the publication of the viva and paediatric books the website has more definitely established itself as a companion to the book series.
The website also provides additional information on the 6 Day Intensive Orthopaedic Courses that Postgraduate Orthopaedics began to run in 2014
We are dedicated to orthopaedic teaching and training and hope that with your help the site will continue to grow, evolve and improve.
